Our own Recreation Department sponsors a number of activities and trips. The Recreation Department will list them here - so please check this page often!

Summer Recreation Program - July 6, 2009 to August 14, 2009

The Chester Recreation Department is pleased to offer an expanded Summer Recreation program for the 2009 summer.

The Summer Recreation Program will be available with half and full-day options. The Program will run from July 6, 2009 to August 14, 2009-Monday through Friday at 8 AM-12:00 Noon or 8 AM to 4 PM at Wason Pond. Click the link to download 2009 informtion and registration package.

REC: Kripalu Yoga Classes for Adults - Summer 2009

"Gentle" and "Gentle/Moderate" Classes are offered to adults new to yoga or needing guidance building postures from the ground up. "Power Yoga" is vigorous, designed for those who enjoy moving in a flow from posture to posture. In all classes, students use postures, breathwork, and relaxation to quiet the mind, tone the body, and move the inner self towards stillness. The program is directed by Rhonda Woodward, Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, who has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. SUMMER SCHEDULE has NEW class times and accommodating payment options. Participate in Tuesday night, Thursday night or Thursday morning classes (sunrise and 8:45 a.m.!) as works for you. Pay for only as many classes as you plan to attend between June 30 and August 27.
