Wason Pond Community Center  Roof Replacement

The Town of Chester, New Hampshire, will be accepting bid proposals for Community Center Roof Replacement at Rt. 102, 603 Raymond Road, Chester, New Hampshire.  All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked:

                                “Community Center Roof Replacement, RFP No. 09-10-1

All bid proposals must be received no later than September 9, 2010 at 2:30 PM

The Chester Public Library of Chester, New Hampshire, will be accepting proposals for the removal and replacement of a forced-air furnace and the removal and replacement of one A/C condensing unit.

All proposals must be made on the RFP form available at the Library or athttp://www.chesterlibrary.com/ChesterPublicLibraryHeating-ACRFP.pdf, and the RFP forms must be completed fully when submitted.

Chester Lions Club - Annual Yard Sale - 9/11/10 at Town Fair

The Chester Lions Club will be holding their annual yard sale at the Chester Town Fair on Saturday Sept. 11, 2010 from 8 AM until 2 PM. Donations wanted and may be dropped off on Saturday morning (the 11th) at the Route 102 ball field parking lot. No large furniture or electronics, please!  All profits go to help Chester residents and other Lions Club charities.

Chester Lions Club - Calendar Sale 7/26/10

The Chester Lions Club announces it’s 35th Annual Community Calendar sale.

The calendar includes individual listings of birthdays, anniversaries and memorial

dates, as well as community and school meetings and events.

Proceeds from this major fundraiser are used for Chester Lions' charitable projects, which include:  annual scholarship to graduating Chester seniors, sight and hearing assistance to

Chester residents, and support of many other area charities, which benefit Chester residents.

Cost of the calendar is still only $6.00 each and will include individual listings for birthdays, anniversaries and memorials. Please support your Lions Club by purchasing calendars. Order forms are available by calling Bruce Baker at 887-4424, or e-mail bruce.baker@beangroup.com.
