10/6/2023- Register to Vote or Change Party Affiliation

Supervisors of the Checklist are hosting a voter registration session tomorrow 10/6/2023 from 7:00pm-8:00pm at Town Hall.

To register please bring photo identification, proof of residency(driver's license is acceptable if current address is listed- or 2 forms of proof such as a piece of mail, paystub, bank statement, lease, etc. that shows your name and address in Chester), and proof of citizenship (one form of proof such as birth certificate, passport, or naturalization paperwork). 

October 6th is also the last day before the Primary to declare your party.To make changes to your party affiliation please bring your photo ID. The Supervisors will provide you with a form to make the change. If you are registered as UNDECLARED, you do not need to choose a party at this time. When you arrive at the Primary you will have your choice of a republican or a democratic ballot. However, if you are currently registered as a democrat or a republican as of 10/7/2023- you will be locked in to that party's ballot at the Primary Election.   No changes will be made after this Supervisor session until after the Primary which is anticipated to be sometime in January 2025.
